Since graduating with a degree in sculpture, Gabrielle spent years in the construction industry and worked on the fabrication of everything from library ladders to chess sets. In 2010, she opened Shelton Studios which specializes in architectural metal fabrication. Her work has been featured in Aritectual Digest, AD Design, and Architectul Record—to name a few.

An early adopter of Handyma’am Goods, we first met Shelton after she purchased a pair of our coveralls in 2015. She made a post lauding the coveralls and how they were the best coveralls she'd ever owned—and we were overcome with gratitude. Handyma’am was a very young company at the time, and we were so excited that our work was being so well-received. Since then, we have kept in contact and feel lucky to call her a friend.

Handyma’am has always been just as much about the community as the garments. Shelton has shown us so much support over the years, we are excited to show her a little love in return.
